Two Business Objects Developers - XI R2

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title:  Senior Business Objects XI R2 Developer-2 positions

Location: Columbus, OH

Est. Start Date:  10/22/2007

Length of Assignment:  This assignment is for an indefinite period consisting of ongoing projects.  The first project is anticipated to last 4 months

Position Description:  Senior Business Objects XI R2 Developer

 

Please send your consultant’s resumes for an experienced Business Objects XI R2 developer with 5-7 years of BO development experience, minimum of 1 year experience developing on the XI platform.

 

Resource will be responsible for the following:

*     Project Plan/Task level accountability.

*     Create detail design documents.

*     Develop BO XI R2 reports based on defined requirements.

*     Communicating issues during development

*     Prepare Unit/Integration Test cases/documentation.

*     Work with Support to complete design/code review and ensure knowledge transfer is successful.

*     Quickly resolve functionality issues discovered during System/UAT testing.

*     Should work independently.

 

Required Skills:

*     Strong demonstrated knowledge of Business Objects XI R2 WEBI features.

*     Understanding of complex Universe design.

*     Data Modeling experience

*     Strong SQL skills, tuning/explain plans.

*     Knowledge of Data Warehousing/Data Mart concepts.

*     Excellent cooperative and collaborative technical skills.

*     Excellent oral and written communication skills

*     Ability to ensure high quality, defect free deliverables will be produced.

*     Strong initiative/problem solving skills.

*     Ability to understand Business Unit Requirements.

*     Experience with BI Implementations involving

*     Operational/Analytical/Adhoc/Dashboard solutions.

*     Technology experience with: IBM DB2 UDB V8, Oracle RDBMS, UNIX.
