Thanks for Your Support in My last requirement. Here is an very urgent requirement for one of my client.

 

Job title  : Sr Web Developer - SAP BW Reporting

Location:    Hermitage, TN (Nashville)

Term:         09 Months       

Rate    :       Open

Position Description/Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and support Web and Microsoft Excel based reporting solutions within Deloitte, primarily using Deloitte's SAP Business Warehouse (BW) application tools along with other web development technologies.
• Work from functional/technical specifications to develop web based reports using HTML, JavaScript, XML, SAP Web Development Tools and other web technologies.
• Develop and maintain SAP BW queries using SAP tools such as Query Designer, Business Explorer (BEx) and Web Application Designer is preferred.  Work with SAP Portal team to link reports to Firm Information Portal as required.
• Work with the SAP BW database modeling team and to communicate report requirements and test data modeling changes.
• Work with other development support teams to complete report development and resolve project issues.
• Document test plans and complete Unit Testing of developed reports.  Work with Quality Assurance resources to coordinate and complete System and Integration Testing.
• Analyze and communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues.
• Understand the firm's business systems, accounting practices, and reporting systems.  Consult with end users, business analysts, subject matter experts, and project team members to understand reporting requirements and resolve complex design issues impacting reports.
• Report status, communicate project issues, and participate in project meetings as required.

 

• Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems preferred OR relevant technical training OR equivalent work experience.
• 5-10 years IT experience, a minimum of 5 years with web development technologies including HTML, XML and JavaScript is required.
• One-year experience with SAP Business Warehouse 3.5 or higher is preferred.  Experience with multi-dimensional/relational data models and general data warehouse concepts is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP BW Business Explorer Analyzer (BEx), SAP BW Web Query development, and SAP R/3 is beneficial. 
• Familiarity with Project Development Lifecycle methodology a must. Must be able to lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required (English)
• Ability to maintain confidential nature related to the firm's financial and management data.
• Detailed oriented.
